Beijing calls for lower, cleaner power in Al smelting


The recently-updated tiered power charge scheme for China’s auluminum smelting will urge the domestic smelters to further enhance efficiency in power consumption and reduce carbon emission that will be aligned with China’s carbon emission peak and carbon neutral targets, China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association commented in a August 27 post.
