SHFE copper, aluminum and nickel prices rise again


The most-traded copper, aluminum and nickel contracts on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) had recorded further on-week gains by the close of the daytime trading session on October 15, the exchange’s data showed. The price movements of these metals were also in line with those of the London Metal Exchange (LME) during the period, Mysteel Global noted.
By October 15, the SHFE’s most-traded November copper contract had surged by Yuan 4,550/tonne ($707.1/t) from the previous Friday’s settlement price, closing at Yuan 73,820/t, according to the data.
