WEEKLY: Tangshan billet price rebounds from 9-m low

ABSTRACT

The Q235 150mm square billet price in Tangshan, a bellwether of China's steel market dynamics, rebounded last week after falling steadily for over the prior two weeks. The price stood at Yuan 4,320/tonne ($676/t) EXW and including the 13% VAT as of November 26, up Yuan 170/t from an eight-month low on November 15 or by Yuan 120/t on week, according to Mysteel's assessment.
