WEEKLY: Aust., Brazilian iron ore shipments retreat 2%


Over November 22-28, the total volume of iron ore shipped to global destinations from the 19 ports and 16 mining companies in Australia and Brazil under Mysteel's survey reversed from a one-week rise, down 488,000 tonnes or 1.9% on week to 25.3 million tonnes, and shipments from both the countries declined after having one-week recoveries.
Over the latest survey period, Australian iron ore shipments from its 10 ports bound for global destinations dropped by 360,000 tonnes or 2% on week to 17.8 million tonnes, and Brazil shipped 7.5 million tonnes from its nine ports worldwide, also down 128,000 tonnes or 1.7% on week.   Over the same survey
