MYSTEEL: China's SiMn output retreats slightly in April

ABSTRACT

China's total silicomanganese output among 121 domestic smelters under Mysteel's regular tracking retreated slightly in April after the growth over the prior month to 906,170 tonnes, down 32,471 tonnes or 3.5% after hitting the 17-month high in March. The 121 sampled smelters host almost all of the country's SiMn smelting capacity.
