DAILY: China's rebar price down again, but sales improve

ABSTRACT

On May 13, China's national price of HRB400E 20mm dia rebar under Mysteel's assessment slipped for the second day to Yuan 4,956/tonne ($730/t) including the 13% VAT, down another Yuan 21/t on day to hit the lowest since March 21, though transaction in the physical market improved somewhat with the slight recovery in steel futures prices.
