SHFE's copper and aluminum prices down, nickel rises

When the daytime trading session of October 22 ended, the most-traded copper and aluminum contracts on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) closed lower on week, while SHFE's most-traded nickel contract closed higher on week, all of which were in line with the price movements of these three base metals on the London Metal Exchange (LME).
On October 22, SHFE's December copper contract slumped by Yuan 1,090/tonne ($170/t) from the prior Friday's settlement price to close the daytime trading session at Yuan 72,390/t, and the SHFE's December aluminum contract plunged by Yuan 2,245/t on week to close at Yuan 21,580/t.
