WEEKLY: China's domestic iron ore concs prices vary


Offering prices of domestically-mined iron ore concentrates at major markets across China assessed by Mysteel were varied over October 18-22, with the prices in Tangshan in North China's Hebei dragged down by weak demand from local steelmakers, while prices elsewhere such as in East China's Shandong increased due to tightened supply, market sources observed.
As of October 22, the offering price of 66% Fe grade domestic iron ore concentrates in Tangshan had declined to Yuan 1,045/dmt ($163.8/dmt) EXW and including the 13% VAT, falling by Yuan 65/dmt on week, according to Mysteel's tracking.   Most steel mills in Tangshan showed strong determination to force down local prices of domestic ore, as
