Most copper plate/strip enterprises have resumed production, especially large ones that didn't shut down to maintain normal or just reduce production during the Spring Festival, according to Mysteel's survey of 15 processing enterprises and 7 traders on February 1. Meanwhile, small and medium-sized ones are expected to fully resume production after February 5 (Lantern Festival). Because most plate/strip enterprises believe that downstream enterprises will replenish raw material inventory after the Spring Festival and are bullish on prices.
