WEEKLY: China's prices of imported coking coal mixed, demand improves

China's imported metallurgical coal prices including both seaborne cargoes and Mongolian coal delivered into the country diverged during June 5-9, the results of Mysteel's latest survey show, with the former edging up while the latter heading lower.

By June 9, the price of Russian Inagli fat coal remained flat on week at Yuan 1,230/tonne ($172/t), and that of Russian K4 coking coal with 10.5% ash, 22% volatile matter and 0.4% sulphur edged up by Yuan 10/t on week to Yuan 1,470/t, on ex-warehouse Jingtang port basis
