The prices of power-grade and energy storage-grade LFP declined slightly by Yuan 1,000/tonne to Yuan 90,000-98,000/t and 83,000-89,000/t respectively due to the sustainable decrease in the cost.
Lithium carbonate futures contract, which listed for trading on July 21, hit limit down on the first trading day, rattling the nerves of traders. But the mainstream LFP manufacturers were relatively unimpacted thanks to their long-term orders signed already.
According to Mysteel, it is expected that the prices of LFP will drop slightly this week due to declining lithium carbonate prices.
