China spot LNG delivery price averaged Yuan 4,304/tonne as of September 7, down Yuan 29/t from the previous trading day, according to OilChem.
Imported LNG ex-terminal prices stood at Yuan 4,422/t today, down Yuan 8/t from the previous trading day, according to OilChem. The prices changed little on rising port arrivals and softening demand when the typhoon restricted power generation.
LNG sales volume by truck at coastal terminals was 40,656 tonnes on September 6, up 2.92% from the last trading day. In detail, the sales volume was 17,745 tonnes in East China, flat, 13,104 tonnes in South China, up 8.71%, and 8,484 tonnes in North China, up 2.54%, according to OilChem's data.
Domestic LNG prices are expected to be flat in recent days as the gas auction will be held soon, putting the market players on the sidelines.
