WEEKLY: China's HRC output slips by 1.3% on week

Production of hot-rolled coil (HRC) among the 37 Chinese flat steel producers Mysteel regularly monitors declined during the December 4-8 week after three weeks of gains to total 3.22 million tonnes, down by 43,200 tonnes or 1.3% on week, according to Mysteel's weekly production survey.

In tandem, the hot-rolling capacity utilization rate among the 37 mills also dipped by 1.11 percentage points on week to average 82.3% during the same period, the survey results showed.
