Thailand Steel Imports Rise in Jan’20

Thailand's steel imports of raw materials to finished steel products increased on monthly basis in Jan’20, as per the customs data maintained with SteelMint.
Ferrous Scrap-Thailand’s ferrous scrap imports were registered at 0.14 MnT, up by 27.3% M-o-M as against 0.11 MnT in Dec’19. Also, on an yearly basis, the same enlarged by 40% in Jan’20 as against 0.1 MnT in Jan’19. Semi Finish-Billet/Pig iron imports were registered at 0.29 MnT up by 11.5% M-o-M as against 0.26
