Mysteel Monthly: Copper plate/strip, copper tube, copper bar Aug production all fell MoM

August China copper plate/strip production was 225.5 kt, -3.3% MoM and +5.0% YoY. Jan-Aug production was 1,732.9 kt, +3.9% YoY. August copper plate/strip utilization rate was 74.0%.

August China copper tube production was 115.7 kt, -5.9% MoM and -3.8% YoY. Jan-Aug production was 1,001.8 kt, -5.3% YoY. August copper tube utilization rate was 47.2%.

August China copper bar production was 101.1 kt, -7.1% MoM and +253.7% YoY. Jan-Aug production was 857.3 kt, +311.9% YoY. August copper bar utilization rate was 56.0%.
