China's Apr scrap Al imports shed 28%, scrap Cu off 18%

China imported 130,000 tonnes of aluminum scrap in April, down 28% on month and off 23% on year, according to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs released on May 23. The April result took the total for the first four months of this year to 620,000 tonnes, a decline of 11% from last year.
