GCC ends antidumping investigation into China’s pipes

Seamless Pipe Import/Export Industry
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has ended its one-and-a-half-year long antidumping investigation into Chinese seamless pipe imports and decided not to impose dumping duties, a decision which has reassured many Chinese exporters of these products, according to market sources Tuesday.
In a November 5 notice, China’s Ministry of Commerce (MoC) said that the GCC’s Technical Secretariat on trade had made its final determination on November 1. The products involved in the probe were China-origin seamless pipe below 16 inches outside diameter for petroleum exploration and transportation under HS codes
