China unfazed by Malaysian AD duties on its GI exports

Anti-dumping duties Malaysia imposed earlier this month on hot-dip galvanized steel sheets and coils imported from China and Vietnam are expected to have limited impact on Chinese exports of the coated sheets, market sources indicated on Monday.
Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) announced on March 8 it was applying anti-dumping duties of 2.66%-16.13% on the targeted imports from China and Vietnam. The penalties took effect the same day and will remain in place for five years until March 7, 2024. They apply to
