Mysteel will launch the 62% Australian fines PORTDEX assessment at Jiangyin port for better reflecting the spot price of iron ore at river ports starting September 1st, 2020.
At the same time, Mysteel will discontinue the 62% Australian fines PORTDEX assessment at the Zhenjiang port.
The consultation period has been ongoing since July 22nd, 2020 and all the feedback from the market has been considered. The market feedback has been supportive in launching the 62% Australian fines PORTDEX assessment at Jiangyin port and discontinuing 62% Australian fines PORTDEX assessment at Zhenjiang port. All data, including bids, offers and transactions will be available to use as part of the assessment methodology.
