Tokyo Steel lifts April steel prices by $58-83/t on high costs

Tokyo Steel Manufacturing, Japan's leading electric-arc-furnace producer, has decided to add Yen 7,000-10,000/tonne ($58-83/t) to the list prices of its all carbon steel products for April domestic sales, mainly to transfer rising input costs, the company announced on March 22. A company director shared that it may introduce additional hikes in the following months should the input costs continue to rise.
