South32's Mn ore output share down 4% over Jan-Mar

South32 Ltd, the world's leading manganese mining company, saw its share of manganese ore output from its joint ventures in Australia and South Africa decreased by 4% on quarter to 1.21 million wet metric tonnes (wmt) over January-March, according to the company's quarterly report released on April 26.

For the first three quarters of the 2022 financial year (which runs from July 2021 to June 2022), the company's total share of manganese ore came in at 3.96 million wmt, lower by 5% from same period last year, the report showed. South32 holds 60% of the manganese ore venture
