Osaka Steel keeps June domestic section prices flat

Osaka Steel, Japan's largest section producer has decided to keep its list prices for June sales unchanged, to give the market another month to digest its previous hikes, and the company will keep trimming its June sales volumes by the same degree of May to tighten section supply, a company official shared.

The steelmaker, a subsidiary of Nippon Steel, has added a total of Yen 15,000/tonne ($117/t) for March-May sales, and the company has been trimming its sales volume by 30% since the beginning of this month, as reported. Osaka Steel does not reveal its exact monthly list prices, but as of
