In the morning of September 5, Jiangxi Copper Copper Foil Technology Co., LTD. Phase 4 20,000 tonnes/year high-grade electrolytic copper foil renovation and expansion project held a groundbreaking ceremony in Jiangxi Copper Nanchang Industrial Park.
It is understood that the total investment of the project is 2-billion-yuan, new plant 37,404 square meters, is expected to be put into production by the end of 2023 (trial production). The main process equipment of the project is made in China, and part of the equipment is to be imported from abroad. After the completion of the project, Jiangxi Copper Copper Foil Technology Co., Ltd. will increase the production capacity of electrolytic copper foil for full series of 5G related circuit boards (PCB) by 20,000 tons per year, The project pursues to realize the import substitution of high-end electrolytic copper foil required by 5G and subsequent higher transmission rates.
