Data Source: KGHM Quarterly Result |
The production capacity of Sierra Gorda S.C.M. had been severely affected by the reduced ore handling capacity due to prolonged downtime for installation and maintenance work, whose copper output in Q3 decreased by 18.8kt quarter on quarter.
The copper output of KGHM Polska Miedz S.A. in Q3 increased by 12.4kt quarter on quarter but decreased by 0.4% year on year, mainly due to the lower quality of ore processed from the mine.
The copper output of KGHM INTERNATIONAL in Q3 decreased by 6.9kt. Lower production and copper recycling rate from the Robinson mine and assets sale of the Franke mine in April 2022 resulted in insufficient production in the third quarter.
