Japan's Sept domestic stainless flat sales decline 4% YoY

In September, Japan's domestic sales of stainless flats including hot-rolled (HR) and cold-rolled (CR) coils and sheets among 32 major coil centers nationwide had declined for the fourth straight month by a further 3.9% on year to 52,914 tonnes, according to the latest data released by Japan Stainless Coil Centers Association (JSCA) on October 26. Market sources attributed the decline to the fact that buyers had secured materials before prices rose further.
