Acetone output is expected to reach 231,300 tonnes in July, increased by 13.72% month-on-month and 59,700 tonnes year-on-year, with the capacity utilization rate at about 76.94%.
There will be 6 enterprises which may overhaul their phenol and acetone derivatives units in July, with a total capacity of 820,000 t/y acetone units, including Cepsa Chemical (Shanghai), Sinopec Shanghai Gaoqiao Petrochemical, Jiangsu Ruiheng New Material Technology, China Blue Star Harbin Petrochemical, and CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals, etc. Attentions should also be paid to production reduction of some units.
