FLASH: China's auto exports soar 77% YoY in H1

China, the world's largest car-producing country, exported a total of 2.34 million automobiles in the first half of this year, soaring by 77.1% from the same period last year, the latest numbers from the country's General Administration of Customs (GACC) showed.

Within the total, passenger car exports spiked 89.5% on year to reach 1.96 million units during H1, while that of commercial vehicles grew by 32.9% to 382,706 units. And new-energy vehicle (NEV) exports stood at 793,224 units, surging 114.8% on year, the data found. For June alone, China shipped 410,000
