WEEKLY: Robust sales clip China coke plants' stocks, output lower

Total stocks of metallurgical coke at the 230 Chinese independent coking plants that Mysteel regularly track continued downward trend for the eleventh consecutive week over July 21-27, down by another 59,200 tonnes on week to 511,600 tonnes. The primary reason behind the continuous stock decline was the robust purchase from domestic steelmakers.
