The coking grade ammonium sulfate capacity may inch down in next few years, since the eliminated capacity will be very close to the new capacity. Meanwhile, new iron phosphate units will be put into operation. Besides, caprolactam enterprises, coking enterprises, power plants and chemical enterprises will be equipped with new ammonium sulfate units in the coming years on stricter environmental requirements. Thus, the total ammonium sulfate capacity will continue to increase and may increase to 22.50 million t/y in 2025 and 24.00 million t/y in 2030, respectively.
