Sichuan Yahua Industrial Group Co., Ltd. recently announced that the Kamativi lithium mine in Zimbabwe is currently undergoing construction for a mining and beneficiation project. The Kamativi Lithium Mine project will be constructed in two phases.
The first phase involves the renovation of the beneficiation plant at the original site through open-pit mining, with an annual processing capacity of 300,000 tons of lithium ore. It is about to be completed and put into operation. The second phase of mining construction will be completed in 2024, with an annual processing capacity of approximately 2 million tons of lithium ore. After the completion and operation of the second phase project, it will produce approximately 350,000 tons of lithium concentrate.
