Outlook:
The price trend of cobalt salt before the holiday is relatively clear, and most enterprises have gradually reduced and stopped production. At the same time, stimulated by the sluggish market, some small and medium-sized enterprises have taken early holidays, which has limited overall production. It is estimated that the market price of cobalt sulfate will be around Yuan 32,000/t, and that of cobalt chloride will be around Yuan 40,000/t.
At present, the demand has not improved, and downstream buyers are mostly eager to purchase at low prices on rigid demand, and smelters have a low willingness to lower prices, resulting in a stalemate in transactions; During the Spring Festival, the top-tier smelters maintained normal production, with some small factories experiencing a decrease in production, and many operators adopting a wait-and-see attitude; It is estimated that the market price of Co3O4 will be around Yuan 135,000/t and that of cobalt oxide will be around Yuan 134,000/t.
