3.36 million t/y PA6 capacity to be released in the next few years

Totalling 3.36 million tonnes/year PA6 capacity will be released in China in the next few years, accoding to OilChem's survey.

Among them, most of new units will be centrally located in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Fujian, which are also main PA6 consuming regions. Besides, units of some PA6 factories will be equipped with upstream and downstream units to reduce impact from cost and demand. The overall PA6 production will increase in later stage with large release of new PA6 capacity.

However, the overall PA6 capacity utilization rate will be not high, in consideration of slower release of downstream new capacity and shutdown of some PA6 units.
