Hyundai Motor Group announced on Wednesday that it plans to invest 68 trillion Korean won (approximately 50.6 billion US dollars) in South Korea by 2026 and hire 80,000 people to seek a competitive advantage in the electric vehicle industry.
Hyundai Motor stated that it will create over 198,000 job opportunities. The group's goal is to expand its annual production of electric vehicles in South Korea to 1.51 million units by 2030, including its subsidiary Kia Motors.
