NBS: China's Mar coke output falls 6% YoY

China's total coke output decreased by 6% on year to about 39.37 million tonnes in March, according to new data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

Over the first quarter this year, the country produced a total of 119.89 million tonnes of coke, down by a tiny 0.5% from a year earlier, according to NBS. Among the total, Shanxi, China's top coke-producing province, produced 6.7 million tonnes of coke last month, down by a larger 18.7%
