FLASH: S. Korea initiates AD duty review on stainless steel from China, others

The South Korean Ministry of Economy and Finance (MOEF) on Friday announced to initiate an expiry anti-dumping (AD) review investigation its top steelmaker POSCO Co., Ltd. earlier lodged on certain stainless products imported from Chinese mainland, Indonesia, and Taiwan.

For China, the AD measures were initially imposed on Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and its related companies, and Angang Lianzhong Stainless Steel Corporation, in September 2020 for three years, with the ad valorem of 23.69-25.82%, as per the release.
