On June 17th, the Tianjin Municipal People's Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL). According to the agreement, both parties will deepen cooperation in areas such as EV battery industry chain resources, retired battery recycling and renewable energy investment and development, energy storage applications, charging and swapping infrastructure network layout, transportation electrification transformation and upgrading, and battery financing leasing. Some municipal state-owned enterprises in Tianjin, Binhai New Area, and Wuqing District have also signed cooperation agreements with CATL and its holding subsidiaries.
