In addition, some petcoke refineries have raised their production. Therefore, the overall production of petcoke is likely to increase in July.
China's Petcoke Inventory

The petcoke inventory has shown an uptrend since 2024, especially from mid-to-late February to early March when the figure jumped significantly on weak downstream demand. Although the petcoke inventory dipped by 80,400 tonnes or 1.61% over month to 5.11 million tonnes as of July 12, it still stayed at a high level at present. In the face of rising production, the inventory leve in July will be subject to the demand side.
