On July 28th, the launch ceremony of the 50 GWh sodium-ion battery and energy storage industrial park project of Inner Mongolia Juneng Zhengxin Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. was held in the Economic Development Zone.
It is reported that the total investment of the project is about Yuan 20 billion, covering about 1,200 acres. It is planned to be constructed in two phases. Among them, phase I of the project has a total investment of about Yuan 5 billion yuan, covers an area of about 430 acres, and will build a 10 GWh sodium-ion battery production line, which is expected to be completed in December 2025; The total investment for the phase II of the project is Yuan 15 billion, with a planned production capacity of 40 GWh sodium-ion battery production line. Thus, a 50 GWh sodium-ion battery production base and energy storage industrial park will be built.
