Recently, PTL's 200,000 tonnes of lithium-ion battery anode material project was put into operation in Qionglai, officially entering the operational phase. So far, the total investment of the project has reached Yuan 11.5 billion. After completion, it can produce 280,000 tonnes of anode materials annually, becoming the world's largest integrated production base for lithium-ion battery anode materials and graphite, with an expected annual output value of Yuan 12 billion.
In November 2020, the project settled in Qionglai to build a national first-class new energy battery material industry base project with a total investment of Yuan 20.1 billion. It consists of the PTL Sichuan Zichen Technology anode and graphite integrated production project, Sichuan Zhuoqin New Materials base film and coating integrated project, and Katop lithium-ion battery intelligent equipment manufacturing project, becoming key projects promoted by Sichuan Province.
As of now, PTL's various projects have been put into operation successively. Among them, phase I of the Zichen New Materials anode and graphite integrated production project started trial production in March 2024, and phase II is planned to be completed and put into operation before December this year; The integrated project of Zhuoqin New Materials base film and coating put into operation successively in October 2022; The Katop lithium-ion battery intelligent equipment manufacturing project is planned to be completed and put into operation by the end of this year.
