NBS: China's Jan-Nov aluminum output gains 4.6% YoY

Production of primary aluminum across China rose by 4.6% on year over January-November to total 40.2 million tonnes, according to the latest data released by the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Monday. Within the total, 3.7 million tonnes were produced during November alone, higher by 3.6% on year, the data showed.

However, compared with October's primary aluminum output, last month's volume slipped by 0.3% or 10,000 tonnes, Mysteel Global calculated based on the NBS statistics, possibly because November was a shorter month.
