China's lithium carbonate production showed a weekly increase of 1.60% in the week ending December 20 as the producers in Jiangxi Province maintained high operating rates. The tolling orders received by converters in North China were also at a high level. Concerning the inventory, the soft lithium carbonate prices encouraged the downstream players to purchase, and the traders reported smooth shipment. The available resources on the market were mostly new lithium carbonate produced after October 2024.
