According to the latest news on December 22nd, the topping out ceremony of the first phase of the solid-state battery intelligent production base of Heyuan Lithium (Huai'an) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.(HYLIC) was successfully held in Huai'an District, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province.
Liu Min, Chairman of HYLIC, stated that the company will work hard to ensure that the mass production line is put into operation in the second quarter of 2025 to ensure the delivery of customers' solid-state battery orders.
According to the previous news, HYLIC's 10 GWh smart factory for solid-state batteries started construction in Huai'an City on February 27th. The total investment of the project is about Yuan 5 billion, with a total land area of 400 acres, and a 10 GWh solid-state battery production line will be built in three phases.
Among them, the first phase covers an area of 127 acres, with a total investment of Yuan 500 million, to build a 1 GWh solid-state battery production line; The total investment for the second phase is Yuan 1 billion to build a 2 GWh solid-state battery production line. After the first and second phases are fully operational, the total annual output value of the project will not be less than Yuan 3 billion; 273 acres of land will be reserved for the third phase, with a total investment of Yuan 3.5 billion, to construct a 7 GWh solid-state battery production line. After the third phase is fully put into operation, the total annual output value of the project will exceed Yuan 8 billion.
