DoC: U.S. steel imports from China drop 15% in 2024

The United States imported 470,197 tonnes of steel products from China for domestic use in 2024, reflecting a notable 15% year-on-year decline, according to a report released by the U.S. Department of Commerce (DoC) on February 5.
However, U.S. steel imports from China saw a significant spike in December at 57,896 tonnes, the statistics show.
