Coal exports through Gladstone port slip 3.2% YoY in Jan

Australian coal exports through the Port of Gladstone in North Queensland during January decreased by 3.16% from January 2024 and also fell by 14.42% from the prior month to about 4.9 million tonnes, according to new data released by the Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC). About 70% of coal handled at the port is metallurgical coal, Mysteel Global notes.
