According to the latest news on February 24th, the centralized construction and on-site promotion meeting for key projects in the first quarter of 2025 in Tangshan City was held at the site of Gotion High Tech Tangshan Battery's annual production of 10 GWh new energy heavy-duty truck battery cells project. A total of 828 projects participated in this concentrated construction activity, with a total investment of Yuan 653.06 billion.
Among them, the annual production of 10 GWh new energy heavy-duty truck battery cells project was approved as a key preliminary project in Hebei Province on January 23, 2025. The total investment of the project is Yuan 3.5 billion, covering an area of 159.2 acres and a total construction area of 60,000 square meters. The main construction is to build a new energy heavy-duty truck power battery production line with an annual output of 10 GWh, and to support the upstream and downstream industrial chain of power batteries. Supporting and auxiliary facilities such as dust-free production workshops, pack assembly production lines, and testing and inspection production lines will also be constructed. After the completion of the project, the total production capacity will reach 30 GWh compared to the previous project.
According to the related information, Gotion High Tech Tangshan was established on August 12, 2016, with Ge Daobin as its legal representative and a registered capital of Yuan 1 billion. It is wholly owned by Gotion High Tech Power Energy Co., Ltd., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gotion High-tech Co., Lt.
