In February, China's production of ternary cathode materials reached 49,000 tonnes, with an increase of 4.59% MoM and 14.8%YoY. Following the resumption of production after the CNY holiday, the output saw a slight increase. However, some companies were still in the process of inventory reduction, resulting in a modest growth in production.
China's production of ternary cathode materials may stand at 58,200 tonnes in March, an increase of 18.67% MoM and 7.7% YoY. Leading companies continue to ramp up their production, while some smaller enterprises begin to build up stocks for the electric consumer orders due to the ongoing rise in cobalt prices, leading to an overall increase in production scheduling.
