China's Huanghua port to expand coal transport capacity

Huanghua port, China's largest coal port located in Cangzhou city in North China's Hebei province, is set for further expansion, aiming to lift coal transport capacity and strengthen domestic supply of the fossil fuel, said its operator and state-run power giant China Energy Investment Corporation (CHN Energy), in a statement on March 18.

As an exclusive coal port for CHN Energy, Huanghua port handles around 30% of the total coal shipments of major northern China ports.
