China's Western Mining starts construction of $120 million iron ore project in Gansu

Western Mining Co., Ltd., a large mining group based in Xining, Northwest China's Qinghai, on Wednesday formally launched a processing technology upgrade and deep mining (phase two) construction project at its Subei Bolun Qijiaojing iron ore mine located in Jiuquan, Gansu province, according to state-backed media China Radio International.

With a total investment of Yuan 873 million ($120 million), the project will apply advanced processing equipment, including high-pressure roller mills, ball mills, and vertical spiral stirring mills in the Qijiaojing processing plant, alongside automated detection systems and expert control for grinding processes, the company announced.
