On April 10, Liyang Liquan Technology announced a strategic agreement with South Korea's Easychem to co-develop dry-process electrode binders and solid-state battery materials, signed recently at Easychem's headquarters.
Liquan Technology stated that this cooperation will combine Liquan Technology's technological advantages in dry electrode and special binder modification with Easychem's R&D advantages in fine chemical materials to jointly develop a new generation of dry electrode binders and solid-state battery materials. This is a strong collaboration between Chinese and Korean companies in the field of all-solid-state batteries.
According to the related report, in the second quarter of 2024, the Liquan Technology team, based on years of accumulated powder to film dry process technology, conductive network construction technology, and powder dispersion enhancement technology, had successfully developed the world's first carbon nanotube preparation technology and products that can be used for dry electrode processes in new energy batteries.
It's known that Easychem is one of the top fine chemical companies in South Korea, and is also the core material supplier of Samsung, SK, LG, Hyundai, GM and Volkswagen.
