China's foreign trade in construction machinery rises 7% YoY in Q1

The foreign trade value of China's construction machinery sector ticked up by 7.2% on year during this year's first quarter to reach $13.57 billion, according to data released by the China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA) based on statistics from the General Administration of Customs on April 21.

Within the total, the export value increased by 7.6% from Q1 2024 to $12.92 billion, while that of imports remained largely unchanged from the previous year at $654 million, inching up by a minuscule 0.02% on year. For March alone, the country's foreign trade value of construction machinery grew by
